There's a reason experienced players treat wand crafting like a bankroll test, not a quick upgrade. A mirror-grade caster wand in Path of Exile 2 can still move for serious value, but the road there is messy, expensive, and full of awkward stopping points. Chasing Skill Levels and Cast Speed

The longest part is usually fishing for the plus level spell mods. Some players hit it fast. Others sit there for ages while essence prices climb around them. Once that part is done, cast speed becomes the last big suffix. Tier 1 is ideal, of course, but Tier 2 is perfectly fine if the rest of the wand is already strong.
